A LANDMARK deal between Sky Sports and Twitter is set to revolutionise the way fans watch Premier League football.

The social media giant revealed a link-up with the broadcaster.

It will see Premier League highlights and goals appear on the site during the upcoming season.

Twitter users in the UK and Ireland will be able to see video clips of key moments from all games broadcast by Sky in real time via the @SkyFootball Twitter account.

It means supporters eager to catch a glimpse of the action and new league stars such as Manchester United’s Zlatan Ibrahimovic will not have to wait until Match Of The Day to get their fill.

The Sky Sports Football Centre app will also carry highlights of every Premier League and Football League match for Sky Sports TV customers, including those shown by rivals BT Sport after their games have ended.
