AFTER all these years, Joan Collins has revealed she based the character of Alexis on Donald Trump.

But it wasn’t his hair that inspired her, it was his financial acumen.

She spilled: “Alexis was very tough in business and I had just met Donald around that time – his first wife Ivana was a very good friend of mine.”

Joan says spending 45 minutes doing her hair is a thing of the past, adding: “In that time I bathe, put my make-up on and put a hat on.”
