JUSTIN Bieber’s anti-fan stance appears to be rubbing off on collaborators Major Lazer.

The hit-making trio teamed with the Canadian for new single Cold Water, which should finally shift Drake from the No1 spot today.

And just like when Justin banned fan selfies, now Major Lazer have been told not to touch their audience.

ML’s Walshy Fire, far right, explained: “I always interact with fans but I’ve been told not to because you can catch a cold and then not be able to perform.

“So I’m out there hugging people who are sweaty and I don’t know what Niall Horan, they got. I’ve been warned, don’t touch the fans, just show them love, but get out of there. I’m going to take Vitamin C pills right now.” Regardless of lurgies, Cold Water is intended to bring people together this summer. Diplo, 37, pictured with Bieber, left, revealed: “The song is an expression of how we feel deep down inside and how we Rolling Stones wish to connect with you. It’s hot out there, so jump in cold water.

“We are the people’s champions and we will smack you in the head with our music.”

The track’s success is a group effort involving Ed Sheeran, 25, Justin and Danish singer MØ, 27.

Diplo added: “All the stars aligned, everybody got involved, and the production was right, the songwriting was right.

The band have more collaborations in store for their next album including Usher, Sia, Lukas Graham and Fifth Harmony’s Camila Cabello.
