King to rule at Foxes

Long-serving King is set to sign a four-year deal after helping the Foxes win the title.

The Wales midfielder, 27, has spent his entire career with the club and has League One, Championsh­ip and Premier League winner’s medals.

King signed a four-year deal in 2014 but will now be with Leicester until 2020 after agreeing fresh terms and a pay rise.

The Foxes received a further boost last night when left-back Ben Chilwell signed a new five-year deal.

Chilwell, 19, had been a target for Liverpool.

Striker Jamie Vardy and captain Wes Morgan have already signed new deals.

The Foxes also want to tie down star man Riyad Mahrez, midfielder Danny Drinkwater and goalkeeper Kasper Schmeichel to long-term contracts.

Leicester are on tour in America, where their fan club is growing ahead of tomorrow’s friendly with Paris St-Germain.

Defender Christian Fuchs said: “Winning the league has put Leicester on the map.

“Now fans around the world know about the club. We can be very proud of that.” SOUTHAMPTO­N are set to open talks to sign £4m-rated wonder kid Samuel Bastien. The Anderlecht midfielder, 19, has also been watched by Liverpool.
