BREXIT Britain is booming as we eat and drink our way to success.

People in the UK have been spending big in pubs and restaurants since the June referendum vote.

A report from the CBI shows that the ® service industry has actually grown in the past three months.

More good news comes from a Lloyds Bank report which reveals Brits are increasingly confident about their personal finances after the vote to leave the EU. Managing director Robin Bulloch said: “Consumers seem intent on putting any fears of a wider economic slowdown to one side and carrying on spending.”

With business booming, grocers are now asking the Government to let them sell goods in pounds and ounces after the EU banned the practice.
