Splash horror Rav is to sue
FORMER Crimewatch presenter Rav Wilding is suing over a serious injury he got training for the reality TV show Splash!
The 38-year-old telly host snapped the hamstring tendons in his left leg attempting a somersault dive.
He underwent major surgery but later suffered a pulmonary embolism at home.
Rav now has one leg shorter than the other and cannot walk or stand without significant pain.
He is making a claim against production company TwoFour after the injury.
Rav claims he has struggled to find work because he is unable to fulfil the action-packed roles he used to.
He said: “I’m still in pain every day. It has turned my world upside down.
“I used to play rugby every week, go running, and, having been in the Army and a police officer in the past, my fitness was pretty high.
“I used to get active jobs based on my fitness, but now I can’t do those things, the opportunities aren’t really there any more.” MADONNA’S black Mini Cooper, which featured in the 58-year-old’s 2003 hit American Life, has sold for £22,400 at auction in Weybridge, Surrey.
