Gang attacks mates after they hear chat

A MAN was beaten to death by a gang of teens “because he was Polish”.

Arkadiusz Jozwik, 40, and another Pole were attacked when they were heard speaking their language.

The factory worker, from Harlow, Essex, later died in hospital from head injuries after Saturday’s attack outside a pizza takeaway.

A 43-year-old man, also from Harlow, was taken to hospital with fractures to his hands and bruising to his stomach.

Last night Mr Jozwik’s brother Radek, 36, said: “The police have told us he was attacked because they heard him and his friends speaking the Polish language.

“He was standing eating pizza and they picked on him because of that.

“After the Brexit vote it has got worse.”

A sixth boy, 15, was yesterday arrested on suspicion of murder.

Four 15-year-olds boys and a 16-year-old boy have been questioned and released on police bail.

A worker at TGF Pizza said: “He was in a really bad way.”
