Naughty Miss tried missionary position

SHE SPREAD GOD’S WORD

- By CRAIG SAUNDERS

SEX scandal teacher Isabelle Graham took on a missionary position spreading the word of God.

The disgraced Miss was caught in bed with a teenage pupil on his prom night.

She was struck off after a photo emerged of her lying semi naked in a hotel bed with a boy standing at the door.

But now it has emerged Ms Graham had another position in education.

Until a few weeks ago she worked for an Armed Forces charity that teaches troops about religion.

She was employed as a “donor relations officer” at the Soldiers’ and Airmen’s Scripture Readers Association (Sasra).

This week a teaching council found Ms Graham, who worked at Whitburn Academy in West Lothian, had got drunk and repeatedly “engaged in sexual activity” with a 17-year-old pupil at a Travelodge in Edinburgh.

She denied the accusations, claiming her drink had been spiked.

She also said that she was the “victim” and that she did not believe in sex before marriage.

Ms Graham, 28, started working for Sasra in July 2015 under the name Shona Wilkie.

As part of her duties, she compiled a book of the war diaries of a soldier called William Ransley.

Her husband, trainee clergyman Andrew Wilkie, who vowed to stand by her following the accusations, is also involved in the charity as a support worker.

Last night both their names had been removed from the organisation’s website.

A spokesman said Ms Graham had left the organisation on an “unrelated” matter “a few weeks ago”.

They added: “Andrew remains a staff member with us.

“At the moment, because of the recent media attention, it is not in the media’s interest to know his position.”
