Odds show new royal tot’s a ‘cert’ next year

WILLS and Kate are so happy with family life that they are planning to have another baby, bookies believe.

They are making it odds on that Prince George and Princess Charlotte will welcome a little brother or sister next year.

The speculation follows the royals’ hugely successful family getaway to Canada last week.

Punters are backing a third royal tot for Prince William and Princess Kate, with odds of just 4-6 a baby will be announced in the new year.

Jessica Bridge of Ladbrokes said: “The sight of Kate and Wills with George and Charlotte has sent royal baby watchers into overdrive.

“A 2016 announcement seems unlikely but if the money’s to be believed 2017 looks like a certainty.”

Odds for a baby announcement this year are 4-1, while chances are at 3-1 for an announcement in 2018 or beyond.

The royals were a picture of happiness during their Canadian jaunt, with George, three, and Charlotte, 16 months, stealing the show.

The youngsters delighted crowds again when they smiled and waved as they left the country at the weekend, although for a second time on the trip George was reluctant to take part in a high five. It was the second tour for the Prince, who travelled around Australia and New Zealand with his parents in 2014 before his sister was born.

Despite a recent royal tradition of having just two children, a source close to the family has revealed Kate is longing for a third.

The source said: “Everyone knows that Catherine would like three children because she has a brother and sister.”
