HIDE BOMBS
ISLAMIC State jihadis are hiding bombs in baby alarms, it was revealed yesterday.
The deadly devices are primed to go off at the sound of a door opening.
They have been found in Libya where Isis fighters have been battling for five months to retain control of the port city of Sirte.
The Libyan army has been driving Isis out of what was once its African headquarters, just as Iraqi soldiers are set to turf the terror network out of Mosul.
Garage owner Ahmed Gabak, who de-activates booby traps for the Libyan army, said the retreating jihadis were getting “more and more inventive”.
He has found baby monitors attached to explosives.
Jihadis also stretch fishing line across roads so that artillery shells detonate under cars that drive over them.
Hypodermic syringes have been planted in the sand so people who step on them detonate bombs.
Ahmed has also recovered dozens of suicide vests which were packed with TNT explosives.
