Andy’s plea to Queen on girls
A ROYAL feud has broken out between Prince Charles and his younger brother Prince Andrew with the Queen at the centre of their rift.
Andrew, 56, wants his daughters Beatrice, 28, and 26-year-old Eugenie, to have full-time public roles like Charles’s sons William and Harry.
A source said the furious younger prince thinks his daughters are being overshadowed by their cousins and Princess Kate, 34.
But his older brother, 67, fears any extra drain on the public purse will batter his popularity as a future king.
Andrew has reportedly now appealed to their mother to sort out the family fall-out.
The source said: “He has long argued that as the only ‘blood princesses’ in the family, Beatrice and Eugenie deserve proper royal roles like their cousins, along with the same standard of accommodation at Kensington Palace.”
Princess Eugenie works at a modern art gallery while her sister is currently between jobs.
