A BRIDE and groom had their wedding ruined when a gastric illness outbreak swept through their hotel.

Gemma and Lee Tepper stayed at the Marelen Hotel in Zante, Greece, in August.

The pair, from Pontefract, West Yorks, were struck with cryptosporidium.

A total of 60 people have asked lawyers Irwin Mitchell to investigate, with some claiming there were faeces in the pool.

Gemma said: “We want to know why more wasn’t done to protect people.”
