MAGICIAN Richard Jones is plotting to crack America after his Britain’s Got Talent win made him a global star.

Richard has gained a fan base from around the world since his victory in May’s final.

He said: “I’ve had so much support. I love getting emails from people. Even people in places like Thailand and America and Australia have been getting in touch.

“The show airs over there after it does here so they’re now seeing my act for the first time.”

The Army man added: “I performed in Malta and I visited a military school in Germany. And there are plans for me to go to quite a few places next year. I’ve had a lot of interest from America. They keep asking when I’ll be going over there, so I’m hoping to get something together.

“They are really supportive of their forces so they like that aspect of my act.”

Richard’s win saw him take home the £250,000 cash prize and win a spot at the Royal Variety show.

But he admitted: “I still haven’t spent any of it. I just haven’t had time. I think next year I’ll treat myself to a nice holiday. But I haven’t got any big plans.”

Richard is set to star in panto in Swansea later this year and has been promoting Mobile Tickets with Trainline.

He said: “I’m so busy at the moment. I’m still working with the Army too.”
