IT’S A LITTLE MESS

Mum forks out fortune for 17-second meet with band

- By BENJAMIN POTTER

A MUM paid more than £100 for her children to meet Little Mix – only to be granted 17 seconds with the pop stars.

Lisa Cham travelled four hours to meet the band on Saturday.

But she was left fuming after the girls turned up an hour late and banned fans from taking selfies.

Lisa, 30, attended the group’s Our World book signing with her son Tijan, three, and daughter Amie, seven. Her sister and two children also came along for the treat.

Lisa said: “It’s absolutely disgraceful that they treat their fans like that.

“We travelled over four hours to meet the girls and we were only allowed 17 seconds with them.

“They signed their book but the autographs are just scribbles and my little girl was in tears!”

Lisa and her sister ® shelled out £16.99 for each child and an additional £102 on train tickets.

Amie was a big Little Mix fan but now “can’t bear” to hear them mentioned.

Lisa, from Birmingham, said: “I rang their management and Sony, and they slammed the phone down on me. It was downright rude.”

A spokesman for Waterstones in London, where the signing took place, said: “The Little Mix signing was, unsurprisingly, a hugely popular event.

“Due to the anticipated high turnout, we also notified customers at ticket purchasing stage that Little Mix would sign their book but, owing to time restrictions, there would not be the opportunity for selfies.”
