TAMMY ABRAHAM knows his way around the penalty area but it’s a different story off the pitch, according to his ‘dad’.

The England Under-21 hotshot has smashed in 11 goals already for Bristol City this season on loan from Chelsea. But while the 19-year-old is dynamite on the pitch, he is clueless off it, says Robins teammate Aaron Wilbraham. At 37, Wilbraham (inset) is almost twice the age of the teenage ace, and said: “Tammy asks me for a lot of advice and he calls me dad. “He’s forever forgetting things, or he’s lost his car keys and he’s a bit all over the place, so I’m always winding him up saying he needs to sort it out.

Advice

“I’m 18 years older than him and I’m always helping him around the place but he’s been on fire to be fair – and long may it continue. “I’ve played that lone striker role that he’s playing many times at Crystal Palace and MK Dons so I’ve given him little bits of advice.” The duo aim to help the Championship side heap more misery on Premier League strugglers Hull tonight in the EFL Cup. Wilbraham hit a late winner against Blackburn on Saturday to maintain the Robins’ impressive start to the season. Now Wilbraham has his old club in his sights. Wilbraham joined Hull in 2004 after eight years on the books of Stockport and left after helping the Tigers win promotion to the Championship. He said: “It was my first big move. I won promotion there.”
