Shooting at boxing

A MAN is recovering in hospital after being shot outside a boxing event.

Police found the victim with a wound to his shoulder after being called to the car park of the Brentwood Centre in Essex on Saturday night.

Det Supt Stuart Hooper, of the Essex and Kent serious crime directorate, said: “We are particularly keen to speak to anyone who attended the venue and has dashcam video footage in their car.”
