THE Jump star Louis Smith has been accused of lying about his skiing skills.

Show rival Robbie Fowler said the Olympic gymnast told everyone on the Channel 4 winter sports contest that he was a novice.

But Louis has wowed everyone with his talents in Austria and is favourite to win.

Ex-footballer Robbie – who was eliminated last night – said: “Louis is the one to beat but for someone who says he hasn’t skied I think he may be telling porkies.” His comments were echoed by Spencer Matthews.

The Made In Chelsea star said he had also believed Louis, 27, had not been on the slopes before the show began.

He added: “We started skiing at a similar time.

“Although it came to light the other day that Louis has been on three skiing holidays before and owns two pairs of skis.

“So I was quite disappointed to hear that Louis is actually a skier.” Hunky Louis said he had always been very open about his experience on the slopes.

He added: “I have skied since 2009 and I have been on two skiing holidays.”

Meanwhile, Robbie has admitted he was scared about doing last night’s jump. He said: “It was really foggy. We couldn’t see the bottom of the hill.

“I don’t know if this had an adverse effect on me when I was coming up to the jump but I think it was the first time I said to one of the trainers, ‘Are you sure this is safe’?”
