Snod is courting trouble

- By STEPHEN WILKIE

® A SCOTTISH judge has issued an arrest warrant for West Ham star Robert Snodgrass.

The 29-year-old could now miss Monday’s Premier League clash with Chelsea after failing to appear at Glasgow’s Justice of the Peace Court yesterday.

On Thursday night Snodgrass attended the London premier of ‘Iron Men’ about West Ham’s final season at Upton Park, along with team-mates.

But his defence lawyer Martin Black told the court his client “didn’t think he had to be” when asked why Snodgrass was not present in court to face a motoring charge in relation to an incident in April 2015.

JP Eunice Paton then granted a warrant for his arrest.

The warrant gives police the power to detain Snodgrass and take him to Glasgow.

Snodgrass and West Ham last night declined to comment. Tonight’s big fight is going to be a real belter. Haye and Bellew are both good mates of mine, so I’m not getting involved in the needle.

Fair play to Tony for stepping up a weight, but I reckon the Haymaker will end it in the third. That’s my Weekend Longshot - 7/1 at 10Bet.

Back to the football - who would have bet on Ranieri getting the elbow a year ago? Everyone’s saying it was down to ‘player power,’ but in my experience, it’s usually players falling out with each other that causes bad vibes, poor performances and manager sackings. The truth is yet to come out about all this, mark my words.

Wasn’t surprised that they beat Liverpool clubs often win the next match after the boss gets his P45. And I reckon they’ll ride the wave as the relegation dogfight gets serious. So my Razor-Sharp Treble Tip this week is for the Foxes to beat Hull, Swansea to do Burnley and Liverpool to beat Arsenal. That works out to solid odds of at 10Bet. In fact, I’m going to make the Anfield clash my Bet of the Day - the Merseysiders to run out winners at
