Girl’s agony as search goes on
CORRIE McKeague’s girlfriend yesterday posted a loving message: “I miss you all the time.”
April Oliver, 21, also shared a selfie of the pair smiling in a sports car.
It was the first time the mum-to-be has spoken since police declared they were “confident” they would find Corrie’s body at a landfill site they are continuing to search.
April wrote on a webpage: “One of our favourite places to be was on the north Norfolk coast with the roof down, singing silly songs, and walking the dogs. I’d do anything to be back there.
“I miss you Corrie every second of the day and night.”
April, who met the 23-yearold airman on a dating website, discovered she was expecting his baby two weeks after he vanished following a night out with pals in Bury St Edmunds, Suffolk, in September.
She wrote on a website set up to support the hunt: “I’ve not posted before, partly because I’ve never felt I had the right words and also because I’ve had a lot of changes.
“But I wanted to thank every single member on this page from the bottom of my heart for all the love and support you have given.
“The past months have been incredibly emotional.’’ Corrie’s mum Nicola, 48, replied: “So much love for you April.’’
Police suspect Corrie may have been either crushed or suffocated when a refuse lorry collected a wheelie bin he had crawled inside to keep warm.
