Paul insists all heat is on Hull

SWANSEA head coach Paul Clement reckons all the pressure is on Hull today.

The Swans are six points clear of their relegation rivals, who sit second from bottom in the Premier League table.

And Clement says a win at the KCOM Stadium would be a massive psychological boost for the Welsh club.

He said: “The pressure is on Hull as they’re playing at home and are below us. We have to use that to our advantage and be tactically well set up – we are clearly in a better position than they are.

“A point wouldn’t be a bad result, but we’re going for the win because to take all three would be a massive, massive step again.

“With all the other teams around us not playing, only Bournemouth play and then Hull face us. “So it could certainly psychologically be a very big weekend, not only for us but also for

the teams around us.”

In the first game in charge of their new clubs, Hull boss Marco Silva got the better of Clement in an FA Cup clash in January. Clement has since lifted Swansea out of the relegation zone, while Hull are struggling and remain in the thick of it. But the former Bayern Munich assistant has praised the job the Portuguese coach is doing. “It’s nice what he’s done with the team, I like the way they play,” Clement added. “Looking back on the videos, they try to play from the back, they play through the lines and look organised defensively. “They will be pushing to score and get forward against us, and their players will know the importance of winning this game.”
