Imps dream but it’s a nightmare for Wenger

- Charlie McCann

ARSENAL entertain non-league Lincoln City in the FA Cup quarter-final this evening in a game they have nothing to gain but plenty to lose.

Arsene Wenger’s Gunners are 1-14 to make the semi-finals in 90 minutes but not even another cup success can alter the fact that they appear desperately in need of a change of leadership.

Lincoln have done great to reach the last eight and you have to go back to 1912 for the last non-league side to play in a semi-final. It is unlikely, but Barcelona showed us midweek that ’tis free to dream. The Imps are 28-1 at BetVictor to win in 90 minutes, 21-2 to get a draw and 12-1 to reach the last four.

We have been betting on the next Arsenal manager for some time now and make Juventus coach Massimo Allegri our 5-2 fav to take over, irrespective of the timescale. Dortmund’s Thomas Tuchel is 12-1, Newcastle boss Rafa Benitez 14s and Celtic chief Brendan Rodgers 16-1.

Wenger (right) has taken Arsenal to 10 FA Cup semis – I suspect this will be his last.

Zlatan Ibrahimovic is banned for Man United’s tie of the round at the Bridge on Monday but I still feel United will make the semis.

The holders lost 4-0 at Chelsea in the league in October and Jose Mourinho will be keen to exorcise those demons.

Chelsea are 5-6 to reach the last four in 90 minutes, United 7-2 and the draw 12-5.

Writing exclusively for BetVictor, Michael Owen suggests United will get at least a draw (United 9-10 on the double chance) despite Thursday’s Europa League trip to Russia. A 1-1 draw is 6-1 with BetVictor and that is the recommendation.

Marcus Rashford at 31-10 to score at any time could be a tad overpriced.
