On-song Carroll to fire Irons

- Dale Tempest

IT has been some week for punters and it has cost us plenty. Because of our RequestABet service we were taken to the cleaners in the Barcelona-PSG match and it cost us £5m!

Perhaps next week’s Champions League games will treat us better, but before then there is some interesting Premier League action and four FA Cup quarter-finals to focus our attention.

West Ham look a better footballing unit than at any time in the season and are a confident choice to beat Bournemouth at the Vitality Stadium.

The Hammers acquitted themselves well against Chelsea and have the firepower to overrun a Bournemouth side who have not kept a clean sheet in eight.

Calmer

The Londoners’ line will be led by a rejuvenated Andy Carroll (below) who appeals at our 5-1 to score the first goal, especially with the home team vulnerable to set-pieces. Sky Bet’s 7-4 about the visitors rates a strong wager. Swansea have won five out of eight for manager Paul Clement and appeal at evens Draw No Bet at Hull. Everton are in calmer waters at Goodison than last week when they lost at Spurs. West Brom struggle against the better sides, so back the Toffees at 8-13. Liverpool, with a clear run of games ahead of them, must beat Burnley to stay in top-four contention and should comfortably take the spoils at our 1-4. Turning to the FA Cup, with Monaco to come in midweek Man City look plenty short enough at 4-9 (in 90 minutes), so Middlesbrough with a goal start on the handicap at 7-4 appeals. Millwall can make life awkward for Spurs, so back the draw H-T/Spurs F-T at 11-4. My best cup bet is Chelsea, 4-5 favourites to beat Man United in 90 minutes at the Bridge. The Blues haven’t lost in 11 against United, and have won their last 12 at home overall. And Jose Mourinho’s side still don’t look the finished article.
