She’s not ink love!

‘ED WON’T HAVE CHERRY TATTOO’

-

ED SHEERAN won’t get a tattoo tribute to his girlfriend until they get married.

The record-breaking star has been getting serious with Cherry Seaborn and travelled the world with her during his year off.

But Ed’s favourite tattooist Kevin Paul has revealed he has no plans to ink his love for his hockey girl, just yet. Kevin said: “He’s never mentioned having anything for her. Ed is very close with her but he’s not had anything for her really, I don’t think he’s planning to.

“I don’t think he’s ever had a tattoo for any partner at all, he’s a sensible person.”

That could change if he decides to pop the question to Cherry who is the inspiration for his new song Perfect.

Apparently he has an empty spot on his bod saved for a future wife.

Ed is very particular about what he gets designed on his body – he has everything from a childhood Teddy to a Taylor Swift homage on his skin.

Kevin, who spent 40 hours tattooing Ed’s chest, explained: “The work that he’s had is solid and unique.

“I like Ed’s choices because he doesn’t just copy trends.

“He’s had things that are personal to him that he knows he’s not going to regret.

“Someone like Justin Bieber just copies trends, he’s got the same generic sleeve as everyone, he’s got the clouds, the angels, all that generic s*** which is copied from David Beckham.

“I was the official tattoo artist for The X Factor for five years and every single person said: ‘I want an old school mic, music notes and the same thing over and over.’”

One person he does have a tribute to is artist Damian Hirst –a cartoon shark inspired by his famous Great White piece. Kevin spilled: “I think he’s friends with Hirst as well as being a big fan. Ed’s from a very artistic family. “His mum and dad are very passionate about art. He’s definitely grown up around art, you can see that in him and he owns a lot of nice paintings.

“He’s very artistic and it makes a refreshing change to have someone like that because with most celebrities they don’t have an artistic bone in

them.”
