DIG out the doubledenim because now B*Witched are about to celebrate their 20th anniversary.

Hot-on-the-heels of Steps’ comeback, Edele & Keavy Lynch, Lindsay Armaou and Sinéad O’Carroll are plotting their own party.

The quartet will toast two decades of debut hit C’est La Vie with new music in 2018.

But fans should also brace themselves for an updated version of B*Witched.

Edele confirmed: “We’re gonna be what we are now musically and what we feel now.

“We’re not gonna try tap into what we were because that’s nostalgia and the music industry has moved on as much as we all have… we’ve updated it so we feel comfortable with it.”

B*Witched became the first girl group to score four Zayn consecutive No1 singles in the UK – but C’est La Vie is their ultimate earworm.

“It’s pretty incredible,” said Edele. “I think at some point I was getting a little fed up with it, YEARS & Years and two years ago I did pantomimes and we had C’est La Vie in the pantomime.

“But I wasn’t in it, so I got to stand back and look at C’est La Vie from a different perspective. Picture: GETTY I just found a new love for it and really understood what it does to people still.”

The girls haven’t exactly been slouches since their Nineties heyday. They got back together for 2012’s Big Reunion TV show where Edele and bandmate Sinéad patched up their differences.

She recalled: “We’re the best of friends again now and I talk to Sinéad in particular every day and I wouldn’t want my life without her again.”

The girls are now planning more new tunes for next year. In the immortal words of C’est La Vie, ‘Let the fun begin’.
