Burrell gay ex in Jungle

-

PAUL Burrell’s gay ex-lover is being chased for a visit to the Jungle in the hope he has more royal secrets to spill.

Princess Diana’s flamboyant butler dated Australian Greg Pead in the 1980s for three years.

Burrell tried to keep their affair under wraps and went on to marry Maria – the couple had two children together.

However in 2002, Greg went public about his relationship with the royal servant, whom Princess Di called her “Rock’’.

He told tales of how Burrell wrote love letters to him on Buckingham Palace stationery, sneaked him into the royal household for sex and even visited the Queen’s private apartments and met her corgis.

Now the ex-footman has finally come out and is set to marry his new boyfriend and lawyer Graham Cooper, it seems Pead is being pursued for I’m A Celebrity as producers think he has more to tell.

The vintage clothes and antiques dealer also knows the ITV show very well.

He lives on the Gold Coast and is just 40 minutes away from the Jungle camp site over the border in Murwillumbah.

He even claims crew members often visit his antiques shop.

Leaked

And when Burrell was runner-up on the show back in 2004, he tried to meet him but word leaked and minders stopped him getting near. A source said: “Greg will no doubt have lots of campfire gossip about Burrell and the royals.

“Plus he is an Aussie so he won’t be phased by any of the spiders and snakes.”

Burrell won’t be tuning in if Pead does sign up as he has made it clear he does not want anything more to do with him.

He said: “It causes me grief when he pops up.”
