PRINCE Wills looked sheepish as Kate kept an eye on him yesterday.
He returned to royal work for the first time after a boozy Alpine ski holiday where he was caught being “slut-dropped”.
® A STONY-faced Prince William yesterday made his first appearance in public since the storm over his boozy lads’ trip. The sheepish royal was joined by wife Kate days after being filmed dancing with two blondes on a ski holiday. The Duchess of Cambridge did her best to put on a united front on as they honoured the Irish Guards on St Patrick’s Day. But later she was caught giving him a knowing glance amid the “slut-drop” dancing scandal. Kate handed shamrocks to officers alongside William in full military gear at the London event. They then celebrated the Irish festival by enjoying a pint of Guinness while chatting to soldiers. Later the prince joined Kate on an official visit to Paris for a Brexit charm offensive. They met President Francois Hollande and were guests of honour at a dinner to celebrate the relationship between France and Britain. Kate wore three outfits during the day. She started in a green Catherine Walker coat at the Irish Guards, then changed into a black Alexander McQueen gown for a reception at the Britsh Embassy in Paris. She finished in an ice blue Jenny Packham dress for the dinner at the embassy in the evening. The trip will be seen as a way for the prince to rebuild his reputation after he was criticised for ducking out of a Commonwealth Day service to go to Swiss ski resort Verbier. Footage showed William playfully stealing a blonde girl’s hat on the dancefloor and placing his arm around the waist of another woman. One of the women then performed a sexy “slut-drop” dance move in front of him.
