Palace in tune with Big Sam

- Dale Tempest

SAM ALLARDYCE has finally got his Crystal Palace players to defend and the Eagles are aiming for a third consecutive victory to nil following wins against West Brom and Middlesbrough.

Watford are not in great form, so I make Palace at home the bet of the week at 10-11 for Big Sam (below).

Chelsea have used only 21 players this season and that has patently helped their march at the top of the table.

Antonio Conte’s passion on the touchline means the Blues are always at it from the start and, although 8-13 looks restrictive away at Stoke, I think it’s a value bet against a side lacking in wins against top-six sides this term.

Arsenal are 8-11 to beat West Brom at the Hawthorns – that looks plenty short enough for a side that have failed to win three of their last four games. I think a draw is the best they can hope for here.

Everton will be many people’s banker bet of the day against Hull but I think 8-15 is too short against the improved Tigers.

Dejected

Burnley have secured two points from a possible 42 on the road and are just 15-8 to beat Sunderland. But if they can keep Jermain Defoe quiet then they stop Sunderland and I’m opting for Burnley/ Draw No Bet at 10-11. The real Leicester have turned up! But can they beat West Ham on the road? The percentage call is a draw at 5-2. Manchester United at 4-7 are not for me. I don’t like backing teams odds-on who have played in the Europa League on Thursday. Draw specialists United can get another at 11-4 at Boro. Spurs have scored just eight goals in nine games without Harry Kane and he is missing for the visit of Southampton tomorrow. Saints are 4-1, a price to tempt me in. Jurgen Klopp has an unbeaten record against the top clubs and I want be on Liverpool/Draw No Bet here against a dejected Man City.
