CRAZED One Direction fans are tormenting new parents Cheryl and Liam Payne, claiming the singer’s toyboy hunk is not their baby’s real father.
Superstar Cheryl, 33, and her boy band boyfriend announced the arrival of their first child on Saturday, with a photo showing Liam, 23, cradling the boy days after he was born. But the couple, who hushed up the pregnancy and refused to release images of the newborn to excited fans, have sparked sick claims the baby may not be Liam’s. Taking to Twitter, one fan said: “I think that baby is Cheryl’s baby but not Liam’s.” Another added: “I’m not sure if that baby is actually Liam’s or Cheryl’s ex but idc [I don’t care] Liam is happy and that’s all that matters.”

And one asked: “Is it true that Liam is not the real father?” It came as claims swept the internet that the child was fathered by Cheryl’s ex husband Jean-Bernard Fernandez-Versini. One fan said: “The baby is not Liam’s it’s Cheryl’s ex-husband’s.” Cheryl began her secret tryst with Liam while still married to her second husband, Jean Bernard. After ending her marriage with the French restaurateur last January, the Girls Aloud singer and Liam jumped at the chance to build a life together, and announced their relationship days later. Cheryl has always gushed about how much she has wanted children. Writing in the official Girls Aloud autobiography, Dreams That Glitter, she said: “I want to be at the point where I can take a year, 18 months, off. “I want them to wake up and ask for me, not a nanny. That would break my heart.” Representatives for the pair did not comment on the speculation yesterday.
