Stars in Lengate backlash

-

STRICTLY Come Dancing chiefs are facing a revolt from the hit show’s furious dancers over who will replace Len Goodman.

Popular pros, including Aljaz Skorjanec and Karen Clifton, are seething at being kept in the dark over the new head judge.

Slovenian Skorjanec ranted: “I don’t have a clue who is replacing Len.

“We don’t get to know anything that goes on.”

Len, 72, bowed out last year after 12 series as he wanted to “enjoy his twilight years”.

A number of names have been bandied about to join Craig Revel Horwood, Darcey Bussell and Bruno Tonioli on the judging panel.

Among the favourites is Strictly veteran Anton du Beke although Karen Hardy and Arlene Phillips have also been put forward.

Dancer Gary Edwards is the bookies’ favourite.

The BBC was approached for comment.
