Fadi tweet hints prompt service call

GEORGE Michael fans are demanding a massive televised memorial service if he has been secretly buried.

His partner Fadi Fawaz hinted yesterday his funeral may have taken place 10 days ago.

In an online rant telling people to “get their facts correct”, Fadi, 40, posted alleged details of the 30person ceremony and wrote: “Nine days ago.”

His outburst appears to support fans’ fears that the service has already been held in secret.

Fans are now calling for a huge singalong event to mark his passing like the globally televised funeral for Michael Jackson in 2009.

One follower wrote: “We need some big event to sing George’s songs and celebrate his life?”

A special concert tribute would also let celeb pals pay their last respects to the singer, who died on Christmas Day at 53 from heart and liver disease. Meanwhile, an image of George by Damien Hirst has sold for £460,000 at a charity auction.

The work, shown off by George’s ex Kenny Goss, was sold to raise funds for HIV and Aids causes.
