‘Fire’ ant invasion

ASIAN super-ants that can cause deadly fires are invading Britain.

They are addicted to electricity and can gnaw through wires.

The beasts swarm to plug sockets and set up home in microwaves.

Ant expert Dr Elva Robinson said: “They are clearly dominating.”
