2 men in boot

TWO people smugglers were jailed after they tried to sneak two Albanian men into the country through the Channel Tunnel in the boot of their car.

Raymond Manuel, 29, and Thi Ngoc Bich Nguyen, 28, were stopped on the French side of the Chunnel.

The pair, of Enfield. north London, were both sentenced at Canterbury Crown Court, Kent, to two years for assisting unlawful immigration.
