A RAPE victim has backed a female judge who warned that drunken women put themselves in danger.

Megan Clark, 19, was attacked after drinking beer, lager and vodka and inhaling party drug amyl nitrite.

Judge Lindsey Kushner was slammed for warning that attackers “gravitate towards girls who have been drinking”.

But Megan yesterday told the Victoria Derbyshire show on BBC Two: “She was absolutely right in what she said.

“It was taken out of context. She put the blame massively on the rapist. She just said to be careful but she wasn’t at all victim-blaming.”

Megan said she was “pretty drunk” the night she was attacked and wanted to stay out longer than her pals.

Ricardo Rodrigues-FortesGomes, 19, was jailed for six years after he was found guilty of two charges of rape.

Megan said she did not remember much but met Rodrigues and another man near a bus stop in Manchester
