SAM WARBURTON will be fit to tour New Zealand with the British & Irish Lions, despite being ruled out for six weeks with a knee injury.

Lions chief Warren Gatland names his final touring party next week, with Warburton (left) a candidate to be captain.

Cardiff Blues head coach Danny Wilson said: “Sam has a medial strain which won’t interfere with the Lions.”
