KIM PRIMED AND READY TO STRIKE
Rogue state is set to detonate nuke test
NORTH Korea could be “primed and ready” to start a nuclear war, experts fear.
Satellite photos show activity at the rogue state’s nuclear launch sites. And many commentators believe that a bomb test is scheduled for tomorrow, the 105th anniversary of the birth of the communist state’s first leader Kim Il Sung. The “Day of the Sun” is normally marked by a show of military force, and podgy dictator Kim Jong-un is expected to take this to new levels.
North Korea expert Joseph Bermudez said: “Activity during the past six weeks suggests the final preparations for a test.”
The escalating tensions follow US President Donald Trump’s vow to “be effective” on the rogue state.
He called on its biggest supporter China to play a role containing the regime’s nuclear programme.
Crisis
Last night Mr Trump was asked if he had a message for Kim Jongun and replied: “North Korea is a problem. The problem will be taken care of.”
The US President said he believed Chinese President Xi Jinping would “work very hard” to help resolve the situation.
He also later tweeted that he believed relations between Russia, which supports Syria, and the US could still improve after America bombed a Syrian military air base thought to be behind last week’s gas attack on its own people.
He said: “Things will work out fine between the USA and Russia. Everyone will come to their senses and there will be lasting peace!”
Russia was also criticised by the European Court of Human Rights over the Beslan school massacre.
A report claimed it could have averted the hostage siege which left more than 330 dead in 2004.
