Jose primes United to delay Blues’ title march
CHELSEA have already beaten Manchester United twice at Stamford Bridge this season and Jose Mourinho will not want his old club to virtually wrap up the title at Old Trafford tomorrow.
United were cut to 6-5 (from 5-4) for the Europa League after their 1-1 draw with Anderlecht on Thursday and that route looks their best chance of Champions League qualification given they go into the weekend 9-2 with BetVictor to finish top four.
Chelsea are unbeaten in their last eight league games against United and have scored five times without reply against the Red Devils this season. But I think Antonio Conte will find United at Old Trafford a different proposition.
United are unbeaten in 21 league games (11 wins, 10 draws) but have won just six of 16 at home. They are 17-10 to win tomorrow, with Chelsea 15-8 and the draw 11-5.
Half of the six nominations for PFA Player of the Year will be on display, with N’Golo Kante 1-9 to lift the prize from Eden Hazard (5s) and Zlatan Ibrahimovic (20s).
Kante (right) has two goals this term in all competitions – both against United. He is 13-1 to score at any time and 35-1 to net first. There’s much more appeal in the 2-1 for him to be shown a card, while BetVictor bet 3-1 for anyone to see red.
It’s hard to see past a 12th home league win in a row for Spurs when Bournemouth visit in the early kick-off today.
Tottenham are 4-5 to lead at half-time/full-time, while Dele Alli is 1-8 to win Young Player of the Year and 3-4 to net today.
Spurs are 5-1 to sign Ross Barkley this summer and the message from this Evertonian is “Hands Off Our Ross!” – although the sentiment might be a bit late after the incident in a Liverpool bar on Sunday night.
