Euro bid’s a big help for Palace

- Dale Tempest

LEICESTER and Manchester United both have midweek dates with European destiny ahead – so this is the perfect time to take them on.

Leicester play Atletico Madrid on Tuesday but first travel to Crystal Palace, who have won five of their last six including a victory at Chelsea and a 3-0 demolition of Arsenal.

Wilfried Zaha is on fire and rates a play at our 6-1 to open the scoring, but the Eagles at Sky Bet’s 3-4 is the wager.

Man United have the team and the credentials to win the Europa League. The competition rates their best chance of a Champions League spot, which will surely pose selection issues for Red Devils boss Jose Mourinho when they face Chelsea tomorrow.

United have won only six of their 16 home games this season and they haven’t beaten Chelsea in eight games.

Crown

The Blues have one hand on the Premier League trophy and boast an amazing 36 points from a possible 48 on the road. Chelsea certainly rate the bet at our 9-5. Tottenham have kept the pressure on Chelsea for the crown and, at 3-10, will be the cornerstone of many accas at home to Bournemouth. But these two sides have won more penalties than any other teams in the division, so 11-1 about the first goal coming from a spot-kick looks fair. Everton have won their last seven at Goodison Park and are 4-9 to beat Burnley. Romelu Lukaku (below) has scored in each of the Toffees’ last eight home league and cup games and it is evens about him scoring in an Everton victory. Manchester City look short enough at 4-5 for their visit to Southampton and likewise 17-20 chances Liverpool for their visit to West Brom. The 23-10 draw rates the bet when Stoke host Hull and, at 5-2, the draw is again value at the Stadium of Light, where Sunderland entertain an unconvincing West Ham outfit.
