‘Fakes’ scandal as show tops ratings

BRITAIN’S Got Talent has been dogged by a “fakes” scandal despite becoming the most watched show on ITV this year.

A whopping 9.7million viewers tuned in for the launch of the 11th series on Saturday night.

These are the highest ratings for any programme on the station so far in 2017. However, while some of the acts showcased in the episode such as teen singing sensation Sarah Ikumu and The Missing People Choir have been praised, others have come under fire. ®
