ONLY Fools And Horses stars are to reunite on sitcom Benidorm.

John Challis, who starred as Boycie, and Patrick Murray, who played Mickey Pearce, have been teaming up in the holiday hotspot.

Patrick, who found fame as Rodney Trotter’s hat-wearing best mate, has launched a career as a DJ in the Spanish resort.

And chum John, 74, bumped into him in Benidorm while filming series 10 of the ITV sitcom.

Now the pair are to appear together in new episodes of the comedy show.

The new series features a host of comedy legends, including Hale and Pace and Chuckle Brothers duo Barry and Paul.

Shane Richie is returning as entertainer Sammy Valentino with Spandau Ballet singer Tony Hadley playing a cameo role.

Challis, who plays Monty in Benidrom, has asked show bosses if his friend can also have a cameo after they had a catch-up.

A source said: “John and Patrick were thrilled when they both found out they were going to be in Benidorm at the same time.

“All the Only Fools And Horses cast have stayed great mates and they’ve loved getting the chance to catch up in the sun for a few drinks and a few laughs reminiscing about the old times.”

The source added: “As Benidorm is shooting now, John thought it would be great if Patrick could be involved.

“As Del Boy would say, ‘He who dares wins’. So we’ll just have to wait and see if John’s idea gets taken up.”

Patrick, 60, has resurrected Mickey by dressing in his trademark trilby hat and black suit and tie to spin tunes for the holidaymakers.

The Cockney star has even set up home in his local The Nags Head, which shares its name with the Peckham pub frequented by Del Boy and Rodney in the legendary BBC show.
