WILLIAN’S FIRED UP

Brazilian to bag winner

- The former Netherlands star looks at today’s FA Cup semi-final derby clash George Boateng

TOTTENHAM may be carrying the momentum but their capital rivals Chelsea can emerge victorious from today’s FA Cup semi-final. Statistics and records go out the window in a big one-off derby game and although Spurs are scoring for fun and playing the best football in the Premier League, leaders Chelsea have the big-game players to come through. The team that makes the fewer mistakes, copes with the pressure and makes best use of Wembley’s big pitch will win. The Blues have more match-winners – and are unlikely to let the occasion get to them, so Betfred’s 17-10 for a Chelsea win seems fair. Mauricio Pochettino’s side have shown a tendency to lose their cool, give away unnecessary fouls and pick up silly yellow cards.

Tiny

This could cost them dear in the white-hot atmosphere of a semi-final, so Chelsea can edge it 2-1 at the 19-2 on offer with BetVictor.

Expect Tottenham to start fast and back South Korean ace Son Heung-Min to score first at Sky Bet’s 13-2. Eden Hazard can find the net at 2-1 with BetVictor and Sky Bet but take BetVictor’s 19-2 about the impressive Willian to hit the winner.

Back in the Premier League, there is no more difficult venue to visit than Turf Moor. There is no space to play on a small pitch, you get no time on the ball and even the dressing rooms are tiny!

But visitors Manchester United are on a roll after out-performing Chelsea last weekend and qualifying for the Europa League semi-finals.

The Red Devils are worthy 4-7 favourites with StanJames.com, Betfred and SkyBet. Back the away side to win 1-0 at BetVictor’s 19-4 and go for Marcus Rashford to net first at the 11-4 available with Betfred and SkyBet.

Mamadou Sakho will be a big miss for Crystal Palace as they travel to Anfield to take on a Liverpool side chasing a Champions League slot. At 13-10 back the home side giving up a goal on the handicap.
