UK BASE ‘PAID NUCLEAR BILLS’
A NORTH Korean insurance firm based at a house in London is believed to have raised tens of millions of pounds for Kim Jongun’s nuclear weapons programme.
The 1960s detached house in Blackheath was bought by state-controlled Korea National Insurance Corporation in 2006.
Investigators suspect the business has earned millions through insurance fraud.
The UK branch of the business was allowed to operate until April 2016 before being sanctioned by the EU and the UK.
The Treasury said: “The UK has fully implemented the UN sanctions regime in relation to North Korea.” freed up cash to develop his nuclear weapons.
