We Kane still sting the Blues

- ® by PAUL BROWN

HARRY KANE claims Tottenham’s FA Cup agony will not derail their title charge. Spurs went down 4-2 to Chelsea at Wembley and have now lost a record seven FA Cup semi-finals in a row. But Kane (left) insists they can still prove the doubters wrong and hunt down the Blues in the Premier League, starting at Crystal Palace on Wednesday. Kane said: “A lot of people will be looking at us now to see if the momentum has stopped a bit, but we are focused. “We want to finish strong in the league and learn

from what happened last year. The only way we can do that is starting with a win on Wednesday.”

Tottenham fell away last season after they lost to the Blues at Stamford Bridge to end their hopes of catching Leicester.

“Chelsea will obviously be buzzing from this game but it doesn’t always mean you are going to win every other game you play,” added Kane, 23.

“We just have to win our games. Hopefully this is just a blip in what’s been a great season so far.”

Spurs gave their best performance at Wembley in years but are still to win a trophy under boss Mauricio Pochettino.

Kane said: “It’s hard to take because I think we deserved more.

“We have to find a way to win these sort of games, the big games.

“It hurts even more when we can’t do it when we are playing well.” Match report in pullout
