A WOMAN terror suspect in a burka screamed “don’t touch my body” after being shot by armed police.

She was wounded in the stomach during a dramatic raid on a house by a squad of elite cops.

As officers tried to treat the bleeding woman, she began screaming at them.

Last night she was in a serious but stable condition after being taken to hospital.

Armed police used CS gas to storm into her house after the shooting in Willesden, north London, on Thurday evening .

A further six people were later arrested after raids in London and Kent.

Deputy Assistant Commissioner Neil Basu, senior national co-ordinator for counter-terrorism policing, justified the “specialist entry”. A neighbour, who gave her name only as Alexandra, said: “We saw a number of police with their guns pointing at next door’s window.”

The drama came hours after terror suspect Khalid Mohamed Omar Ali, 27, was arrested for carrying knives close to Downing Street.

In a further twist, it emerged police earlier chased and arrested another woman terror suspect in her 20s believed to have been carrying detonators on a bus. A man, understood to be 28, was detained with her.

Meanwhile, a 47-year-old woman was arrested in south London yesterday on suspicion of plotting to fund terrorism in Syria, and in Ireland Hasan Bal, 25, was remanded in custody charged with funding terrorism.
