CHRISTIAN ERIKSEN is the silent assassin Arsenal should fear because he could kill off their Champions League hopes. I think he’s different class and massively underrated because he is up there with the very best. Look how many assists he has this season. He is a proper footballer but you never hear from him. He’s never mouthing off in the media, never outside nightclubs. He just gets on with his job. And he is the reason Dele Alli scores so many goals because he makes all his runs when Eriksen has the ball. His range of passing is phenomenal. One of the balls he played at Wembley when Tottenham lost to Chelsea was out of this world. It was the kind of pass only someone like Steven Gerrard could play. That’s the highest compliment I can pay him. In fact, Eriksen and Alli remind me of Gerrard and Fernando Torres at Liverpool. Torres only used to make his run when Gerrard had the ball, and they were deadly together. Eriksen could play for Real Madrid or Barcelona. If Paul Pogba is worth £90m then ®Êby PAUL BROWN what’s Eriksen worth? He’s a better player. I’d buy him in a heartbeat.

Tomorrow’s clash is a massive game for both teams because if Tottenham lose they can kiss goodbye to the title and if Arsenal lose the Champions League looks very, very difficult.

So there is a huge amount riding on it – and I really can’t see anything but a Spurs win.

I think they will suffocate Arsenal. They looked a bit leggy in the first half against Crystal Palace but changed it and were the stronger team in the last 20 minutes.

Worrying

They beat a good team, too, who have been dominating big sides over the last few weeks.

With a result like that, you can’t rule Spurs out of the title race.

Chelsea still have the advantage because they have the points and their run-in looks easier, but Spurs can keep the pressure on and make the Blues have to win virtually every game.

I hope Alexis Sanchez is okay to play though. I couldn’t sleep worrying about how hurt he got when Christian Fuchs threw the ball at him. I’m surprised he can still walk, bless him. Seriously, how embarrassing was that? Don’t players realise there are cameras everywhere at football nowadays? I have rugby friends and I’m always trying to defend footballers to them but how can you defend that? It was pathetic.

Fuchs throws the ball at him and it hits him on the shoulder, so he decides to go down clutching his face.

It was just like Rivaldo at the World Cup all those years ago. It’s just play-acting and it’s embarrassing. I can think of too many Engli who would do it.

And then he goes and pu little bruised lip on social embarrassing.

I’ve played in a lot of no derbies and when one com the only time I miss playi
