Toffees can draw Costa’s ire ... and the game
LEAGUE leaders Chelsea travel to Goodison tomorrow in a game that could be a tale of two strikers.
Romelu Lukaku is 10-11 to swap the blue of Everton for that of Chelsea this summer, with Spanish international Diego Costa (right) 2-1 to join any Chinese club.
Lukaku has never found the net in the Premier League against his former club, although he did score both goals in an FA Cup quarter-final win for Everton against Chelsea last season.
The hosts will want revenge for a 5-0 hiding they got at the Bridge in November and are 29-10 to win, with the visitors evens and the draw 13-5 at BetVictor.
Lukaku is 2-9 to end the season as top goalscorer and 6-4 to find the net past Belgium team-mate Thibaut Courtois tomorrow. Costa has a good record against Everton – four goals and two assists in his four Premier League games against the Toffees.
Costa was sent off in the cup at Everton last season and is 6-4 to be shown a card tomorrow and that looks a fair price.
Like most neutrals I would like the title race to go down to the wire – but I am not neutral and want Everton to win. My head tells me my glass is likely to be half-full and I think it’ll end in a 1-1 draw at 13-2 with BetVictor.
Man United will go a club-record 25 league games unbeaten if they avoid defeat to lowly Swansea tomorrow. United can’t afford any further slips if they are to break into the top four and are 5-2 from 7-2 to end the campaign in a Champions League spot.
United are 2-5 to beat Swansea, who are 17-2 and the draw 19-5.
You would be rich (well, richer) had you backed the draw in every United home league game this term but not here. I recommend United to win to nil at 5-4.
