“I’LL BE BACK,” promised Serge Pizzorno... if only for Arnold Schwarzenegger’s morning work outs.

There’s a rumour going around that Kasabian are the Terminator star’s favourite rock band.

And new album For Crying Out Loud sounds perfect for Arnie’s pumping iron routine.

Guitarist Serge explained: “Arnold Schwarzenegger says that he works out to our music. Whether it is true or not, I’ve got no idea.”

It’s two years since Kasabian headlined Glastonbury, but that career high didn’t spell ‘Hasta la vista, baby’.

Leicester’s finest told me: “We wanted to come back stronger and better. I didn’t feel like it was the end after Glasto, I feel like everything now is just pure bonus.

“Usually when you get to where you’ve been striving to get to it’s like: ‘I’m bored now’.

“But with me I’m excited now, where do we go next? Anything is possible.

“You only get one spin, so let’s make Kasabian things happen.”

The unusual cover art features a photo of their guitar roadie, who is becoming more famous than the band.

Serge explained: “Rick Graham has been with us for years and is a legend. He’s 70 and we wanted to immortalise him...and now he’s getting loads of attention he’s lapping it up.”

Kasabian headline Reading and Leeds festivals in August.
