‘SIR’S PORN STAR NAMES FOR KIDS’
A DEPUTY head gave porn star names to pupils at their leaving assembly.
Graeme Cowie dubbed sixth form students “Buster F***salot” and “Peachybutt” during a speech.
The 38-year-old faces being struck off after calling a girl with special needs “M*** Muncher”.
And he declared “s***e and b ****** s ® to formality” during the school address. Mr Cowie’s public meltdown was watched by stunned teachers, one of whom said she felt physically sick.
The highly popular teacher of maths and physics, thought to earn over £60,000, was reported to the General Teaching Council for Scotland .
At a GTCS hearing in Edinburgh he admitted that he acted inappropriately, saying “ego” took over.
The hearing was told Mr Cowie, whose previously unblemished career spanned 17 years, put the names of 62 pupils at Mearns Academy in Laurencekirk, Aberdeenshire, into a “porn star name generator”.
Mr Cowie denies being unfit to teach. The hearing continues.
