BRITISH No.2 Kyle Edmund crashed out of the Lyon Open, losing 6-3 5-7 4-6 to Frenchman Gilles Simon after winning the opening set in the last-16 clash.

British women’s No.4 Tara Moore was beaten 6-2 7-5 in the French Open first-round qualifying by Taiwan’s Kai-Chen Chang.
