- By RUTH McKEE ruth.mckee@dailystar.co.uk

PRINCE Harry whisked Meghan Markle away from Pippa Matthews’s lavish wedding reception for some romance.

The couple made a dash for Kensington Palace after four hours at the posh Berkshire bash.

Hectic schedules mean the passionate pair struggle to find opportunities for quality alone time.

And the Prince did not want to waste a second of a rare chance for a romantic evening with the Suits actress.

A wedding insider revealed the glamorous couple spent their brief time at the shindig looking cosy with each other before making their escape.

The source said: “It was very much a case of an early night for Harry and Meghan, 35.

Amorous

“While other guests revelled until 4am, they left at midnight.”

The former military man shocked friends with his amorous antics.

A reformed party animal, Harry, 32, even shunned booze for the day.

According to sources, Prince Harry stayed sober so he could bring his sweetheart to the evening reception at Bucklebury Manor, ® the Middletons’ family home.

The source close to the royal couple revealed: “In the old days Harry would have been the last person to leave the dance floor.

“But with Meghan by his side he seemed more interested in getting back to Kensington Palace. They left hours before most of the partygoers.”

The US beauty is said to be struggling with the long-distance commute between London and Canada, where filming for legal drama Suits is taking a toll on her love life.
