GLASTO RUMOUR

-

LIAM and Noel Gallagher are both going to Glastonbury – sparking fresh Oasis reunion rumours.

Solo star Liam is widely expected to be one of the “secret” special guests at Worthy Farm this month.

And with brother Noel already confirmed to make an appearance, fans are speculating as to whether a family reunion may finally happen.

The elder Gallagher will present the recent Supersonic Oasis documentary at the William’s Green stage on the Friday night.

Meanwhile, Liam is tipped to fill the TBA slot over on The Park Stage Friday at 7.30pm or the 5.45pm hole available on The Other Stage on Saturday afternoon.

Glastonbury head honcho Michael Eavis has long tried getting the brothers together, admitting: “I speak to them both all the time.”

While fans are champing at the bit for an Oasis reunion, the likelihood is that the brothers will be kept well apart. Despite wishing him a happy 50th birthday this week, Liam remains one of Noel’s least favourite people and they both have solo records to promote over the coming 12 months. Liam returned in spectacular style on Tuesday night with a sweaty gig in Manchester, but his mum Peggy was unable to attend because there was no seating. He performed a raft of new songs, including mellow strummer Paper Crown which appeared to allude to his difficult few years after splitting with wife Nicole Appleton. Brilliant bluesy first single, Wall Of Glass – complete with rasping harmonica – arrived last night. It comes backed by a video featuring Liam in a £1,000 gold anorak.
